St. Helen’s Prayer Groups

Matthew 18 v.20:
“ Where two or three come together in my Name, I am there with them.” (N.I.V.)

There are three Prayer meetings (“Listening Posts”) which take God at his word above. One group meets on Thursday mornings at 9.00 a.m. The second Prayer group meets at 10.30 a.m. on Sundays in the church hall just before the Morning Service. The third group meets at Churchtown School on the second Monday of each month at 3.30 p.m. There is no pressure to pray out loud, or in a certain way; the pray-ers just believe that sincere prayer is needed for our growth as a church: praying in a group can also be a great encouragement to praying privately. As a church, we need and want to find out what God wants us to do and how to do it. We also need and want His help. Hence the Prayer Meetings.

John 14 v.14:

“You may ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it.”
